While we were in P-town we discovered that Remington had a nasty ear infection.... BUMMER!
Disgusting huh?
After taking him to the vet we were told he had a over grown yeast infection in there! I didn't even know it was possible to get a yeast infection in a dog's ear. The vet told us that dogs that are groomed often sometimes get water in there which throws off the PH in the ear causing this. Anyways, after some ear drops, our little Remi Bear is much better and his ear doesn't look absolutely disgusting! ICK!

I'm certain my dog has a yeast infection in her ear, I financially cannot afford a vet this month ,how can I clear this up at home
You did not take this photo. This photo is not a yeast infection in a dog. It is an ear mite infestation in a cat from a study at Cornell University. Just got this photo in an Veterinary class assignment and reverse image searched it. You shouldnt spread false medical information like this, as anyone who sees this, as another reader above has, now thinks their dog has a yeast infection, when they likely do not. So not only is this not your picture, its not your dog, its actually a cat, with ear mites. Nice job.
At Anonymous, you need glasses or a better understanding of Animal Anatomy if you can't tell that is a DOG ear over a Cats. LoL WOW
This is a dog however in this ear it's earmites not a yeast infection.if it was a yeast infection it would be more red and swollen.
