Gatlinburg Vacation - Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum & Food

On our second day of vacation we ventured out to the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum. If you're into weird freaky stuff like me then you'll really like it, but I do have to say there was a lot of reading to be done while we were there which Dan was not a fan of.

The entrance of Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum. This giant cement ball floats on 1/4 inch of water (or something like that)

8 legged Buffalo! Hmmmmmmm...

Horse made out of hangers!

Two headed baby cow

The Laughing Buddha! This reminded me of Myla!

Largest Man to ever live... almost 9 feet tall! Only lived to be 22 years old.

Another thing that we did a lot of on vacation was EAT! We tried to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the cabin to save on money, but we did eat out a few times which turned out to be sooooo GOOD!

One morning we had breakfast at the Pancake Panty!

The food was really good! The only complaint we had about the place was that they only took cash! WHAT! Come on people, it's 2012... so we had to go to an ATM to get money and also a 4 dollar fee.

One night for dinner we went to a place called Calhoun's that supposedly makes the best ribs in America.

I think Dan agreed they were the best!

I got a salad and it was AMAZING! I'm craving it right now just looking at this picture!

Another evening we went to dinner at the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant...

Dan got fried chicken.... the portions were huge!!!

I had a veggie plate... fried okra... YUM!

And then of course there was Remington's favorite food...

Dog food... he often times had his meals on the road ;)

Everything we had to eat and drink in Gatlinburg was oh so good!!!

To be continued...
