Running stats for the week of
July 25th - July 31st... since I have been at conferences all week long you would have expected my running to suffer. SURPRISE! It didn't! I actually did my best week of running! The conference I attended later in the week was up by Lake Erie. My hotel room actually had a great view of the entire lake. I guess that is what inspired me to get out and run. There was a paved path that ran beside the lake and also back through the woods so it was a wonderful change of scenery for me. Would I rather run alongside cars or through nature. I think you know the answer to that :) I even saw three baby deers!!!

Running path
I'm exactly 20 days away from my 10K race! EKKK! I still have not actually ran a 6 miler, but I feel confident that I will before the actual race day. I also have not trained with any hills (can you say DISASTER). Hopefully I can fit some of that in as well before I run the race or I'm gonna be struggling through it unfortunately... We will have to wait and see!

Wednesday, July 27th, 2011 - ran 4 miles
Thursday, July 28th, 2011 - ran 4 miles
Friday, July 29th, 2011 - REST DAY
Saturday, July 30th, 2011 - cross train/stretch
Sunday, July 31st, 2011 - ran 5 miles
Total miles for the week : 13 miles

Great job! It's definitely nice to have a change of scenery sometimes! It can definitely help boost your motivation to get out there and run! :)
