Mileage & CrossFit Monday

Running stats and CrossFit WOD's for the week of August 26th - September 1st... I did the longest run I have done in a while this weekend in the heat of the day. I thought I would be dying since I haven't ran this long in a while, but actually I was just fine. I contribute this to CrossFit really. I feel so much stronger and use to pushing myself to the limit that doing 6 miles wasn't too horribly bad. Have I mentioned how badly I need to start running more regularly...  


Monday, August 26th, 2013 - REST DAY... felt very sick today...

Tuesday, August 27th, 2013 - Warm up : cleans with PVC and bar / Strength : hang power cleans EMOM (65#) / CrossFit WOD : 20 minute AMRAP (400 meter run & 25 hand release push ups)... 4 rounds + 400 meter run... my first WOD that I have ever done RX!!!!

Wednesday, August 28th, 2013 - Warm up : 3 rounds (5 air squats, 10 back extensions, 20 situps) / Strength : front squats (45#) / CrossFit WOD : 5 rounds... (5 power cleans (45#), 150 ft sprint, 5 shoulder to over head (45#), 150 ft sprint, 5 dead lifts (45#), 150 ft sprint)... time 11:37

Thursday, August 29th, 2013 - REST DAY!

Friday, August 30th, 2013 - Warm up :   / Strength : floor presses / CrossFit WOD : 10 rounds (7 dumb bell push press & 7 knees to elbows)... time 9:54

Saturday, August 31st, 2013 - Ran 6 miles / Stretch

Sunday, September 1st, 2013 - REST DAY!

Total miles ran this week : 6 miles
