Remington's 4th Birthday Celebration!

I would say that the biggest celebration in our household is Remington's Birthdays. Neither Dan or I are into extravagant parties for ourselves, but we try to give Remington a chance to enjoy himself on special occasions that involve him.

Before I let Remi take over and tell you about the festivities that were had this weekend, I must first say how blessed Dan and I are to have him in our lives. Yes, most people our age have children that they feel this way about... but to us Remington is our baby and the center of our world. We have enjoyed every moment we've gotten with him and never take his presence in our lives for granted. There is not a day that goes by that we don't feel thankful that he was chosen just for us... he is absolutely adored. It's hard to believe that 4 years have passed by and in that time frame he has grown from a 10lb puppy to an 80lb dog. Each day, when I look at him, I can only wish for 10 more years that he will be part of our lives... but for now we cherish every little moment we get to spend with this giant ball of fur! He is truly a very special dog and holds a huge part of our hearts in his paws!

Hey Doodle Lovers! It's Remington Bear here!

Big thanks to my Mom and Dad for all the love they give me... I'm one lucky Doodle! But enough of the mushy stuff... onto the fun!

So for my Birthday's Mom and Dad go all out! One of my favorite things is my giant bone birthday cakes they get me!!!

 Isn't it lovely!

Sniff sniff... it even smells good too!

I tried to sneak a quick bite in, but Mom said first they had to sing Happy Birthday too me!

After all the singing it was time to chow down!!!!!

"Hurry Momma! Cut that cake!"

 Yummy!

Later I got to open my present from Grandma and Grandpa!

They got me a blanket with paw prints all over it!!! COOL!

Mom tried to wrap me up in it... I would have none of that!

Awwwww... time to relax!

Mom and Dad got me a new memory foam crate pad for my crate! I'm so excited! It should come today! Perfect timing!!!

I had a great Birthday as always! Can't wait to see what next year brings!

Time to sign off... WIGGLES!

I LOVE this post! I feel EXACTLY the same way about our Milt dog. Jeff and I don't have kids either, and I am certainly not ready for all that, but Milt makes my world. I have been planning his birthday bash in April since the day we brought him home. Your cake looked delectable! Doodle Moms all the way, and I certainly love my dood every bit as much as a baby!
