Nicknames for your Dog

I swear if Remington could talk and you asked him what his name was, he would have no answer for you! About every month I switch his name up! He seriously has about 100 nicknames that he has to live with on a daily basis.

Our sweet doodle's "full" name is Remington Braunschweiger Rhoton! Yes, a weird middle name, but it was an inside joke between Dan and I at the time! Braunschweiger entered our lives about the time we got Remington. Don't know what it is? Well, it is a disgusting kind of meat you can put on a sandwich! Dan had developed a taste for it and I just liked the sound of the word and thought it was funny! We always said that all our dogs middle names would be Braunschweiger so now poor Remington lives with a strange middle name.

However, real names don't matter in our household because he hardly EVER gets referred to by his "real" name! Remington pretty much just answers to whatever we decide to call him on a certain day of the week. For example, here are some of his nicknames he has learned to answer to... Bubba, Bubs, Bug, Bees, Bees Knees, Bear, Biggy, Bugga, Little Foot, and the list goes on. I really think probably every month a new nickname pops into our heads to call him by.

I don't think he really cares though because at the end of the day he's a Rhoton and that is all that really matters to him!
