Banana Chip Bars (Ingrid Saxman)
- 3/4 cup butter (room temp)
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 6 oz package semi sweet chocolate chips
Beat butter and sugars together until creamy.
Add the egg and vanilla, mix.
Add bananas, mix. Add flour, baking powder, and salt, mix.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Spread in a greased and floured 15 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 1" pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
